Player Commands

NapMC ships a focused set of QoL commands so you can customize chat, join events, and access lifesteal tools quickly. Commands below are available to all players unless a permission is noted.

Communication and Identity​

  • /discord - Shows the invite link, link/unlink instructions, and your Discord status.
  • /rules - Displays the rules channel link with an on-screen title (no excuses).
  • /wiki - Sends the live docs link in chat.
  • /help - Opens an interactive help GUI and prints a permission-aware command digest.
  • /prefix <text> / /suffix <text> - Add styled tags before/after your name. Staff titles are blocked automatically.
  • /nickname <name|off> - Set a cosmetic nickname (with color codes if you have the permission). /nickname <player> <name> lets trusted players help teammates.
  • /chatcolor - Opens the chat colour GUI. Supports solid, gradient, and rainbow options based on your unlocks; /chatcolor reset restores default.
  • /chatmode <global|proximity|team> - Switch where your normal chat messages go. Proximity chat respects the configured radius; team chat respects /team.
  • /msganimation - Toggle animated chat reveal of your last message. Use mode <letters|words> and delay <ticks> for advanced tweaks.
  • /joinmessage, /leavemessage, /killmessage, /deathmessage <text|off|reset> - Customize join/leave/kill/death broadcasts when you've unlocked the respective cosmetic.

Teamplay and PvP​

  • /team - Full team manager (create, invite, promote, disband). See Team System.
  • /tc <message> - Quick team chat from anywhere.
  • /ally - Manage cross-team alliances. See Alliance System.
  • /track <player> - Start tracking another player. /track stop cancels. See Tracking for mode rules.
  • /trade <player> - Secure two-player trades with confirmation GUI (see Trading).
  • /revive <player> - Spend a Revive Beacon to bring back an eliminated player.
  • /itemupdate - Converts legacy custom items in your inventory to the latest format without losing enchants/damage.
  • /register join|leave - Opt into or out of automated 1v1 tournaments when registration is announced.

Utility and Movement​

  • /recipes - Browse every unlocked custom item recipe (opens a GUI).
  • /vision - Toggle full-time night vision without potion particles.
  • /spawn - Instant teleport to spawn if you're already inside the protected square; otherwise the command explains how far you need to move.
  • /discord who <player> - See who a player is linked to on Discord (requires you to have linked your own account).

Tips​

  • Many cosmetics require permissions unlocked via ranks or events - check the Help GUI to see what you already have.
  • The /help GUI also links to tracking, lifesteal, and event explainers for quick onboarding.
